2021-01-18Support locality attributes for Hint Rewrite (including export)Gaëtan Gilbert
We deprecate unspecified locality as was done for Hint. Close #13724
2020-11-16Explicitly annotate all hint declarations of the standard library.Pierre-Marie Pédrot
By default Coq stdlib warnings raise an error, so this is really required.
2020-03-18Update headers in the whole code base.Théo Zimmermann
Add headers to a few files which were missing them.
2019-06-17Update ml-style headers to new year.Théo Zimmermann
2019-05-23Fixing typos - Part 3JPR
2018-02-27Update headers following #6543.Théo Zimmermann
2016-10-03Remove if_then_else. Use tryif instead.Théo Zimmermann
if_then_else definition does not account for multi success tactics. tryif_then_else is a primitive tactical with the expected behavior.
2014-12-25Forbid Require inside interactive modules and module types.Maxime Dénès
Fixes #3379 and part of #3363. Also avoids fragile code propagating required libraries when closing an interactive module. Had to fix a few occurrences in std lib.
2011-10-07fsetdec : non-atomic elements are now transformed as variables first (fix #2464)letouzey
Btw, we also get rid of equalities on something else than elements or sets git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@14525 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7
2011-10-07Improved handling of element equalities in fsetdec (fix #2467)letouzey
- We now handle things like (H : E.eq x x -> ...) by rewriting E.eq x x into True. - There was also a confusion between E.t and its various equivalent (but syntactically different) forms. This should be solved by preventing inlining during an inner functor application. git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@14520 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

2010-06-17fsetdec: clear dependent hypothesis before anything else (fix #2136).letouzey
Since the tactic fsetdec is doing lots of "clear" and also "subst" on equalities, things may go wrong in case of dependencies amongst hypothesis. For the moment, we clear all hypothesis that mention other hypothesis of sort Prop. git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@13162 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7
2010-04-29Remove the svn-specific $Id$ annotationsletouzey
- Many of them were broken, some of them after Pierre B's rework of mli for ocamldoc, but not only (many bad annotation, many files with no svn property about Id, etc) - Useless for those of us that work with git-svn (and a fortiori in a forthcoming git-only setting) - Even in svn, they seem to be of little interest git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@12972 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

2008-12-17FSet/OrderedType now includes an eq_dec, and hence become an extension of ↵letouzey
DecidableType After lots of hesitations, OrderedType now requires this "eq_dec" field, which is redundant (can be deduced from "compare"), but allows the subtyping relation DecidableType <= OrderedType, and hence WS <= S : ordered sets are now truly extensions of weak sets. Of course this change introduces a last-minute incompatibility, but: - There is a clear gain in term of functionnality / simplicity. - FSets 8.2 already needs some adaptations when compared with 8.1, so it's the right time to push such incompatible changes. - Transition shouldn't be too hard: the old OrderedType still exists under the name MiniOrderedType, and functor MOT_to_OT allows to convert from one to the other. Beware, for a FSetInterface.WS (resp. S) to be coercible to a DecidableType (resp. OrderedType), an eq_dec on sets is now required in these interfaces and in the implementations. In pratice, it is really easy to build from equal and equal_1 and equal_2. Some name changes : in FSetFacts, old WFacts now correspond to WFacts_fun, while WFacts now expects only one argument (WFacts M := WFacts_fun M.E M). Idem with WDecide, WProperties and WEqProperties. git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@11693 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

2008-03-07f_equal, revert, specialize in ML, contradict in better Ltac (+doc)letouzey
* "f_equal" is now a tactic in ML (placed alongside congruence since it uses it). Normally, it should be completely compatible with the former Ltac version, except that it doesn't suffer anymore from the "up to 5 args" earlier limitation. * "revert" also becomes an ML tactic. This doesn't bring any real improvement, just some more uniformity with clear and generalize. * The experimental "narrow" tactic is removed from Tactics.v, and replaced by an evolution of the old & undocumented "specialize" ML tactic: - when specialize is called on an hyp H, the specialization is now done in place on H. For instance "specialize (H t u v)" removes the three leading forall of H and intantiates them by t u and v. - otherwise specialize still works as before (i.e. as a kind of generalize). See the RefMan and test-suite/accept/specialize.v for more infos. Btw, specialize can still accept an optional number for specifying how many premises to instantiate. This number should normally be useless now (some autodetection mecanism added). Hence this feature is left undocumented. For the happy few still using specialize in the old manner, beware of the slight incompatibities... * finally, "contradict" is left as Ltac in Tactics.v, but it has now a better shape (accepts unfolded nots and/or things in Type), and also some documentation in the RefMan git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@10637 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

2008-02-04Reorganization of FSet+FMap : no more files specific to Weak Sets/Mapsletouzey
Thanks to Elie's work and especially "Include Type ...", full sets can be simply expressed as extensions of weak sets. Moreover, Facts and Properties functors can be factorized almost completely. As a result, things like FSetWeakAAA.BBB can now be found as FSetAAA.WBBB, Same with maps / weak maps ... No backward compatibility intended for weak sets / maps, but porting scripts should mostly amounts to name changes (see above). git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@10505 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7
