It seems to belong there, not in `tactics`

This actually gets `Pfedit` out of the dependency picture [can be
almost merged with `Proof` now, as it is what it manipulates] and
would allow to reduce the exported low-level API from `Proof_global`,
as `map_fold_proof` is not used anymore.

- Provide new helper functions in `Goptions` on the model of
`declare_bool_option_and_ref`;
- Use these helper functions in many parts of the code base
(encapsulates the corresponding references);
- Move almost all options from `declare_string_option` to
`declare_stringopt_option` (only "Warnings" continue to use the
former). This means that these options now support `Unset` to get
back to the default setting. Note that there is a naming
misalignment since `declare_int_option` is similar to
`declare_stringopt_option` and supports `Unset`. When "Warning" is
eventually migrated to support `Unset` as well, we can remove
`declare_string_option` and rename `declare_stringopt_option` to
`declare_string_option`.
- For some vernac options and flags that have an equivalent
command-line option or flag, implement it like the standard `-set`
and `-unset`.

We make the types of the delayed / non-delayed declaration path
different, as the latter is just creating futures that are forced
right away.
TTBOMK the new code should behave identically w.r.t. old one, modulo
the equation `Future.(force (from_val x)) = x`.
There are some questions as what the code is doing, but in this PR
I've opted to keep the code 100% faithful to the original one, unless
I did a mistake.

We instead favor the `build_by_tactic` function which should at some
point better integrated in the declare core.

Add headers to a few files which were missing them.

Cleanup: IMHO most of the re-raises here are not worth it.

We make the primitives for backtrace-enriched exceptions canonical in
the `Exninfo` module, deprecating all other aliases.
At some point dependencies between `CErrors` and `Exninfo` were a bit
complex, after recent clean-ups the roles seem much clearer so we can
have a single place for `iraise` and `capture`.

Raising inside exception printers is quite tricky as the order of
registration for printers will indeed depend on the linking order.
We thus forbid this, and make our API closer to the upstream
`Printexn` by having printers return an option type.

The standard use is to repeat the option keywords in lowercase, which
is basically useless.
En passant add doc entry for Dump Arith.
|
|
This behaviour seems a bit dubious and it is indeed not needed, also
such re-raises seem like they will mess with the backtrace.

Add experimental "Show Proof" command to the toplevel that shadows
the current command in the parser (in coqtop and PG only).
Apply existing code to highlight diffs in the output

Proof entries are low-level objects and should not be manipulated by
users directly, in particular as we want to unify all the code
around declaration of constants.
This patch doesn't bring by itself a lot of improvement, other than
setting the base where to extend the interface, however it already
points out some points of interest, and in particular the manipulation
of opacity done by `Derive` which can be quite problematic, and of
course the handling of delayed proofs.
So while this is a first step, IMHO it doesn't harm a lot having it in
place, but a lot more work will be needed, in particular regarding the
handling of delayed proofs.
To make `proof_entry` a fully abstract type, the remaining work is
focused on `abstract` and obligations, both of which do quite a few
hackery that will have to be migrated to the `Declare` API.
|
|
We factor some duplicate code, this is a step towards making the
`proof_entry` type abstract.
|
|
It's only called with extend:false from inside UState so we don't need
to expose it.
Not having to look at the whole `merge` function will hopefully help
those trying to understand side effects.
|
|
We don't need to call `UState.demote_seff_univs` as
`emit_side_effects` (`tclEFFECTS`) can do it for us.

top of declare.
This PR is a follow up to #10406 , moving the then introduced
`proof_entry` type to `Declare`.
This makes sense as `Declare` is the main consumer of the entry type,
and already provides the constructors for it.
This is a step towards making the entry type private, which will allow
us to enforce / handle invariants on entry data better.
A side-effect of this PR is that now `Proof_global` does depend on
`Declare`, not the other way around, but that makes sense given that
closing an interactive proof will be a client of declare.
Indeed, all `Declare` / `Pfedit` / and `Proof_global` are tied into
tactics due to `abstract`, at some point we may be able to unify all
them into a single file in `vernac`.
