2017-12-23[lib] Split auxiliary libraries into Coq-specific and general.Emilio Jesus Gallego Arias
Up to this point the `lib` directory contained two different library archives, `clib.cma` and `lib.cma`, which a rough splitting between Coq-specific libraries and general-purpose ones. We know split the directory in two, as to make the distinction clear: - `clib`: contains libraries that are not Coq specific and implement common data structures and programming patterns. These libraries could be eventually replace with external dependencies and the rest of the code base wouldn't notice much. - `lib`: contains Coq-specific common libraries in widespread use along the codebase, but that are not considered part of other components. Examples are printing, error handling, or flags. In some cases we have coupling due to utility files depending on Coq specific flags, however this commit doesn't modify any files, but only moves them around, further cleanup is welcome, as indeed a few files in `lib` should likely be placed in `clib`. Also note that `Deque` is not used ATM.

2017-10-05Distinguishing pseudo-letters out of the set of unicode letters.Hugo Herbelin
This includes _ and insecable space which can be used in idents and this allows more precise heuristics.

2016-10-17Stopping warning on unrecognized unicode character in notation (fixing #5136).Hugo Herbelin
The warning was pointless since the notation was accepted and parsed anyway. We now treat unrecognized unicode characters like ordinary undefined tokens (e.g. "#" in a bare Coq). For instance, "aₚ", or ".ₚ", or "?ₚ" now fail with "Undefined token" rather than "Unsupported Unicode character".
2016-06-14Moving UTF-8 related functions to Unicode module.Pierre-Marie Pédrot
2016-05-19Unicode.ascii_of_ident is now truly injectivePierre Letouzey
A non-ASCII char is now converted to _UUxxxx_ with xxxx being its unicode index in hexa. And any preexisting _UU substring in the ident is converted to _UUU. The switch from __Uxxxx_ to _UUxxxx_ is cosmetic, it just helps the extraction (less __ in names). But the other part of the patch (detection of preexisting _UU substrings) is critical to make ascii_of_ident truly injective and avoid the following kind of proof of False via native_compute : Definition α := 1. Definition __U03b1_ := 2. Lemma oups : False. Proof. assert (α = __U03b1_). { native_compute. reflexivity. } discriminate. Qed.

2016-03-03Fixing bug #4105: poor escaping in the protocol between CoqIDE and coqtop.Pierre-Marie Pédrot
Printing invalid UTF-8 string startled GTK too much, leading to CoqIDE dying improperly. We now check that all strings outputed by Coq are proper UTF-8. This is not perfect, as CoqIDE will sometimes truncate strings which contains the null character, but at least it should not crash.

2015-01-11Extraction: no more ascii blob in type variables (fix #3227)Pierre Letouzey
Since type variables are local to the definition, we simply rename them in case of unicode chars. We also get rid of any ' to avoid Ocaml illegal 'a' type var (clash with char litteral).
