This is similar to Constant and MutInd but for some reason this was was never
done. Such a patch makes the whole API more regular. We also deprecate the
legacy aliases.

This allows to quickly spot the parts of the code that rely on the canonical
ordering. When possible we directly introduce the quotient-aware versions.
|

An h-box inhibits the breaking semantics of any cut/spc/brk in the
enclosed box.
We tentatively replace its occurrence by an h or hv, assuming in
particular that if the indentation is not 0, an hv box was intended.

We replace Coq's use of `Big_int` and `num` by the ZArith OCaml
library which is a more modern version.
We switch the core files and easy plugins only for now, more complex
numerical plugins will be done in their own commit.
We thus keep the num library linked for now until all plugins are
ported.

If we need to print the name of an inlined constant (as in "let name =",
"val name :" or "type name ="), we need its name without inlining nor
qualification.
In particular, we introduce a function pp_global_name to make it
clearer that printing a name at declaration point of a global is only
about printing the basename (formerly, Common.pp_global was correctly
printing the basename without qualification thanks to the
"top_visible_mp ()" test, but OCaml.pp_global was wrongly inlining).

Persistent arrays expose a functional interface but are implemented
using an imperative data structure. The OCaml implementation is based on
Jean-Christophe Filliâtre's.

This is in preparation for the next commit which will clean-up the
current API flow in `Declare`.

At this point the record in lemmas was just a stub; next commit will
stop exposing the internals of mutual information, and pave the way
for the refactoring of `Info.t` handling in the Declare interface.

Re-raising inside exception handlers must be done with care in order
to preserve backtraces; even if newer OCaml versions do a better job
in automatically spilling `%reraise` in places that matter, there is
no guarantee for that to happen.
I've done a best-effort pass of places that were re-raising
incorrectly, hopefully I got the logic right.
There is the special case of `Nametab.error_global_not_found` which is
raised many times in response to a `Not_found` error; IMHO this error
should be converted to something more specific, however the scope of
that change would be huge as to do easily...

This is extracted from #9710, where we need the environment anyway to compute
iota rules on inductive types with let-bindings. The commit is self-contained,
so I think it could go directly in to save me a few rebases.
Furthermore, this is also related to #11707. Assuming we split cbn from the
other reduction machine, this allows to merge the "local" machine with
the general one, since after this PR they will have the same type. One less
reduction machine should make people happy.

This still needs API cleanup but we defer it to the moment we are
ready to make the internals private.

We place creation and saving of interactive proofs in the same module;
this will allow to make `proof_entry` private, improving invariants
and control over clients, and to reduce the API [for example next
commit will move abstract declaration into this module, removing the
exported ad-hoc `build_constant_by_tactic`]
Next step will be to unify all the common code in the interactive /
non-interactive case; but we need to tweak the handling of obligations
first.

This actually gets `Pfedit` out of the dependency picture [can be
almost merged with `Proof` now, as it is what it manipulates] and
would allow to reduce the exported low-level API from `Proof_global`,
as `map_fold_proof` is not used anymore.

This completes a pure Dune bootstrap of Coq.
There is still the question if we should modify `coqdep` so it does
output a dependency on `Init.Prelude.vo` in certain cases.
TODO: We still double-add `theories` and `plugins` [in coqinit and in
Dune], this should be easy to clean up.
Setting `libs_init_load_path` does give a correct build indeed;
however we still must call this for compatibility?

- Provide new helper functions in `Goptions` on the model of
`declare_bool_option_and_ref`;
- Use these helper functions in many parts of the code base
(encapsulates the corresponding references);
- Move almost all options from `declare_string_option` to
`declare_stringopt_option` (only "Warnings" continue to use the
former). This means that these options now support `Unset` to get
back to the default setting. Note that there is a naming
misalignment since `declare_int_option` is similar to
`declare_stringopt_option` and supports `Unset`. When "Warning" is
eventually migrated to support `Unset` as well, we can remove
`declare_string_option` and rename `declare_stringopt_option` to
`declare_string_option`.
- For some vernac options and flags that have an equivalent
command-line option or flag, implement it like the standard `-set`
and `-unset`.

Currently, `.v` under the `Coq.` prefix are found in both `theories`
and `plugins`. Usually these two directories are merged by special
loadpath code that allows double-binding of the prefix.
This adds some complexity to the build and loadpath system; and in
particular, it prevents from handling the `Coq.*` prefix in the
simple, `-R theories Coq` standard way.
We thus move all `.v` files to theories, leaving `plugins` as an
OCaml-only directory, and modify accordingly the loadpath / build
infrastructure.
Note that in general `plugins/foo/Foo.v` was not self-contained, in
the sense that it depended on files in `theories` and files in
`theories` depended on it; moreover, Coq saw all these files as
belonging to the same namespace so it didn't really care where they
lived.
This could also imply a performance gain as we now effectively
traverse less directories when locating a library.

The patch is done in a minimal way. The hacks are turned into a new kind of

Beware of 0. = -0. issue for primitive floats
The IEEE 754 declares that 0. and -0. are treated equal but we cannot
say that this is true with Leibniz equality.
Therefore we must patch the equality and the total comparison inside the
kernel to prevent inconsistency.

`Mlutil.simpl` and `Mlutil.atomic_eta_red` did some unsound eta-reductions as
follows:
(fun x0 ... xn => MLexn x0 ... xn) ->eta MLexn.
`MLexn` raises an exception thus is not a value in OCaml. So the above
simplification may change the behavior of extracted programs. This patch
restricts `atomic_eta_red` to eta-redexes whose core is both atomic and value.

- Extend `pp_record_proj` for record projections involving `MLmagic`.
- Remove special treatments for pretty-printing for record projections other
than `pp_record_proj`.

Primitive operations addc, addcarryc, subc, subcarryc, and diveucl are
implemented in the kernel so that they can be used by OCaml code (e.g.,
extracted code) as the other primitives.
