This closes [bug #5607](https://coq.inria.fr/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=5607).
PR #220 put the exports in the wrong compat files, presumably because it
was originally targeted to version 8.6, and this wasn't updated when it
was retargeted to version 8.7.

Rules for ignoring *some* PDF files had been added one by one to `.gitignore`
but some were still missing (for the corresponding latex files in `dev`).
This rule is actually better since we are not tracking any PDF file.

years ago, which is unused today.

This is a fix for a mistake in
d8874dd855d748aaaf504890487ab15ffd7a677d , where we forgot to
propagate the route parameter.

Used to report to the UI an Error feedback message whenever a
worker was non making any progress. This is wrong since no-progress
is fine (as long as one does not specify "solve")

This fixes bug #5380 in particular.
More generally, tags were not updated to the correct default value
if the corresponding line in the configuration file was missing.

This was (once again) a spurious inter-dependency, that we solve by
introducing a new module with the proper functionality. This helps in
cleaning up the code. Note that no code was changed, other than
removing the setting of the references.

Ltac pattern-matching was requiring dependent variables to be named.
This "natural" expectation is however not guaranteed by unification:
an evar can be dependent on an anonymous variable, resulting in
elaborated terms with dependent anonymous variables (see example in
file 5434.v).
This commit "fixes" the problem by not requiring that dependent
variables are named in ltac pattern-matching. Ltac pattern-matching
names itself these anonymous dependent variables, using the same
strategy as the printer (i.e. using "H" to display such
internally-anonymous dependent variables).

This is necessary in order for clients to identify the results of
queries. This is a minor breaking change of the protocol, affecting
only this particular call.
This change is necessary in order to fix bug ####.

Due to the situation explained in bug 5360, error printing in
ide_slave results in an anomaly. We fix that by properly processing
the error.
This fixes BZ#5524, however BZ#5525 , still applies.

According to
https://www.gnu.org/software/make/manual/html_node/Options_002fRecursion.html#Options_002fRecursion
it's not necessary, because we pass `-j ${NJOBS}` to the top-level `make`
invocation in `.travis.yml`. Additionally, explicitly passing `-j` in,
e.g., fiat-crypto, results in error messages such as

because the `-j` on the `make` in the `ci-fiat-crypto.sh` script
disables jobserver mode, and the submake in fiat-crypto to make coqprime
does not explicitly pass `-j`, and so reenables jobserver mode, and then
`make` gets very confused.

Solution found by reading the question [Is it possible to “pass-through”
GNU make jobserver environment to a submake served via a 3rd-party
(non-make)](https://stackoverflow.com/q/29910944/377022).
This, I hope, will fix errors such as

which result from having a top-level `make` which sets up the jobserver
(via `-jN`), which invokes a non-makefile script *without passing on the
file descriptors for the jobserver*, which either invokes a makefile
script without `-jN` or invokes a makefile script with `-jN` which itself
invokes a submake without `-jN`. This was the case, for example, in
fiat-crypto.

The lite target depends on having the submodule cloned to generate the
list of files to not build.
|
|
|
|
On some benchmarks provided by Chantal Keller a long time ago,
romega was abnormally slow compared to omega (or lia).
It turned out that the change of concl by reified version was
triggering unnecessary unfolds of Z.add, instead of unfolding
ReflOmegaCore.Z_as_Int.plus into Z.add. This is now fixed by
the various Parameter Inline : no more indirections, Z_as_Int.plus
is directly Z.add.
Also use Tactics.convert_concl_no_check for this "change", as
recommended by PMP.

This will avoid stupid merge conflicts in the future.
|
|
Unluckily, this forces replacing a lot of code in plugins, because the API
defined the type of goals and tactics in Proof_type, and by the no-alias rule,
this was the only one. But Proof_type was already implicitly deprecated, so
that the API should have relied on Tacmach instead.
